The three-season 2008-10 HBO drama starring Gabriel Byrne as a Baltimore psychotherapist who treats different patients five days/episodes a week may get a reboot, according to TVLine's Michael Ausiello. "Each season focused on a different group of patients, and thus featured a predominantly new cast," says Ausiello. "More importantly, in the age of coronavirus, In Treatment — which mostly consists of extended scenes of two socially-distanced characters talking — would be minimally impacted by Hollywood’s new safety protocols. (Episodes could also potentially be shot remotely, with doctor/patient holding sessions via Zoom.)" It's unclear if Byrne would reprise his role as Dr. Paul Weston or if creator of the American version Rodrigo García would return.
