HBO orders Showbiz Kids documentary

The film will be helmed by Alex Winter, who went from working on Broadway as a child to starring in the Bill & Ted movies. Now a director and executive producer of Epix's The Panama Papers, Winters has teamed with Bill Simmons on a documentary about the highs and lows of children in show business. “This project is very close to my heart, born of my own experiences in show business, beginning as a child on Broadway,” said Winters, who starred as child on Broadway productions of The King & I and Peter Pan.
