HBO taps Philippa Goslett to take over for Joss Whedon as showrunner on The Nevers

Goslett, who most recently wrote the 2018 film Mary Magdalene, will oversee production of the second half of Season 1 following Whedon's departure. Variety reports The Nevers is still on track to premiere this year.
