HBO to air Judd Apatow’s 4-hour-plus Garry Shandling documentary in March

The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling premieres on March 26 — two days after the second anniversary of Shandling’s death — and concludes the next night, featuring interviews with everybody from Conan O’Brien to Jay Leno to Jerry Seinfeld and Sarah Silverman. Why is the documentary more than four hours? “O.J. got seven hours and he murdered people. So don’t you deserve more time for not murdering people?” Apatow responded at the TV press tour.
