HBO's Game of Thrones final season runtimes are a disappointment after being touted as "six movies"

In January, then-HBO CEO Richard Plepler described the final episodes as like watching "six movies." But instead of getting movie-length episodes, the first three episodes of Season 8 will run an hour or less, while the rest reportedly have a runtime of around 80 minutes each.
