Hallmark has cut all ties with Loughlin one day after her arrest for allegedly paying $500,000 to get her daughters admitted to USC. “We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations,” Hallmark Channel owner Crown Media said in a statement. “We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production." Loughlin was actually working on a Hallmark project in Vancouver when she was indicted on Tuesday, forcing her to have to fly in to Los Angeles for her formal arrest and arraignment. A federal judge yesterday allowed Loughlin to resume filming her Hallmark projects in Canada. Since 2013, Loughlin has been the face of Hallmark Channel and its best-loved actor with her Garage Sale Mysteries movies, When Calls the Heart TV series and her roles in Hallmark's "Countdown to Christmas" movies. As Jezebel put it yesterday, "Loughlin has managed to corner every environment of Hallmark’s ecosystem." TVLine points out that Hallmark Channel fans have been calling for Loughlin's firing, saying that she no longer fits the cable channel's wholesome image following her indictment. ALSO: Hallmark Channel has pulled Sunday's When Calls the Heart episode and is "evaluating all creative options" related to the series.
