The Hacks star made her TV debut as a standup performer on a March 2020 episode of The Late Show, just before the pandemic shutdown. But it turns out that she didn't actually meet Colbert at the time because her appearance was pre-taped. In fact, Colbert had no idea that she had been on his show when he saw Hacks.
