The Sopranos alum testified Thursday that Weinstein raped her in a Manhattan apartment. To counter, Weinstein's attorney played a 1997 Late Show clip of Sciorra promoting Cop Land, saying she would “fib” and “make up quite elaborate stories." The prosecution responded to the defense by asking Sciorra: “In this interview in this comedy show, were you talking about, in any shape or form, talking about lying about matters as serious as what we are here for?” UPDATE: Don Giller, who archives Letterman's shows on YouTube, recounts a Weinstein private detective knocking on his door with a subpoena on Wednesday night for the Sciorra clip: "I asked him why they hadn’t asked (or subpoena’d) Worldwide Pants for the video, since it was their content. He told me that they first contacted CBS, who then directed them to Pants. He then said that there was no time to get the show from Pants, as they needed it for court the next day. So they turned to me."
