In Season 1 of the Amazon series, Sam Esmail opted to use music from classic films like The conversation and Vertigo. For Season 2, composer Emile Mosseri was brought in to create an original score. In fact, his score was used to inspire the cast and crew on set. “It’s a romantic and seductive show,” says Mosseri, “and it’s also dark and thought-provoking. It’s also kind of self-aware, in a way, that is appealing to me. There’s depth to it, but it also doesn’t take itself too seriously.
