Cast and crew were informed this morning that production would be suspended, Netflix and Media Rights Capital announced in a joint statement. “MRC and Netflix have decided to suspend production on House of Cards season six, until further notice, to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew.” The decision comes less than 24 hours after Netflix announced that Season 6 would be the last for the Netflix series. Also on Monday, Netflix and MRC executives arrived in Baltimore, where the show is filmed, “to meet with our cast and crew to ensure that they continue to feel safe and supported.”
