Douglas Adams’ British sci-fi comedy classic is getting the American TV treatment. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy originated as a comedy radio series before becoming a series of novels and stage shows. It was also adapted as a BBC TV series in 1981 and a Stephen Fry-narrated movie in 2005. As Deadline notes, "the series follows the intergalactic adventures of Arthur Dent, a hapless Englishman, following the destruction of Earth by the Vogons, a race of unpleasant and bureaucratic aliens." Cuse will write The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy with Wonder Woman movie co-writer Jason Fuchs.
