Hulu orders drama series based on Sally Rooney's novel Normal People

The streaming service has given a straight-to-series order to an adaptation of Rooney's second novel, following a pair of mismatched lovers in Ireland. Rooney will help adapt her novel into a 12-episode half-hour series.
