PBS' Frontline posted a 43-minute interview with Kelly on its YouTube page Friday that was conducted for next month’s two-part documentary America’s Great Divide: From Obama to Trump. While Kelly doesn't discuss the blackface comments that led to her ouster from NBC, she does criticize her former NBC News colleagues. She specifically went after MSNBC Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski because, she says, "they loved Trump, they promoted Trump every day. Trump was very good at cultivating relationships. And trust me, he tried to cultivate a relationship with me too, but I was a journalist and I understood that I needed to keep him at arm’s length." Kelly added with harsh words at her former home at the Today show: “He boosted their ratings, he boosted CNN’s ratings. It wasn’t just Fox & Friends. The Today show was allowing a presidential candidate to do a phoner once a week. Because he rates. It’s mercenary.”
