On Thursday, L.A. County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny ruled that wealth management and investment advisory firm Bessemer Trust will continue to act as co-conservator of Britney Spears’ estate alongside her father, Jamie Spears. That prompted Insecure showrunner Prentice Penny to tweet: "Also: Judge Penny is my ACTUAL mother. I could’ve told Britney’s dad: She don’t play." He also tweeted that "my mom as THE BIG RED HAT LADY on Season 1 of #insecurehbo at the Jesus play. #intersectionality."
