Damon may be trying to alter the discussion about his knowledge of the Weinstein sexual harassment claims with his recent Kimmel appearances, as Karen Han points out. Since the Weinstein scandal broke less than three weeks ago, Damon has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! three times. On Oct. 10, hours after breaking his silence on the Weinstein allegations, Damon “ruined” Kimmel’s interview with Chris Hemsworth. On Oct. 21, Damon promoted a charity auction to win an “uncomfortable meal” with him and Kimmel to help Jon Stewart’s Night of Too Many Stars autism charity. And on Monday night, hours after admitting in a GMA interview he knew about Gwyneth Paltrow’s Weinstein harassment, Damon surfaced again on Kimmel's show in a bit staged with George Clooney. To be fair, Damon has been out promoting the Clooney-directed movie Suburbicon, which could also explain all of his Kimmel appearances.
