The San Francisco Chronicle's Peter Hartlaub investigated the "FOUL WEATHER MAY POSTPONE CHRISTMAS"-headlined Chronicle front page shown in the 1964 special. He found that the animators had altered an actual Chronicle front page from July 30, 1964.
