Just because the Fallon Five episodes were five minutes long didn't mean Fallon had a much-reduced workload. A full audience still had to come in for the brief taping, and The Tonight Show staff had to produce content that was so good that it would be appeal to the Winter Olympics audience that wouldn't usually watch Fallon's show. For each episode, they had to come up with six and a half minutes of great material, and 90 seconds had to be cut.
