The Daily Show correspondent will write and serve as executive producer on a half-hour series adaptation of Vanessa R. Panfil’s novel The Gang’s All Queer: The Lives of Gay Gang Members, with Rae serving as executive producer. The untitled series revolves around a closeted 20-something in Chicago who, grieving a gang-related death, ditches college to find reckless closure. Young-White, who came out as gay during an appearance on The Tonight Show in 2017, has written for American Vandal and Big Mouth.
