Jason Lee to star in ABC comedy pilot Valley Trash from Fresh Off the Boat creator

The My Name is Earl alum is poised to return to the network sitcom world with Valley Trash, playing a hard-working low-rent lawyer "who is basically a modern day Atticus Finch for people who can’t afford a lawyer." The comedy will be produced by Fresh Off the Boat creator Nahnatchka Khan, whose landmark sitcom concluded on ABC last week, and created by Niki Schwartz-Wright.
