Jean Smart wants to return to Designing Women for the potential ABC revival series

"I’m gonna try to definitely make an appearance,” Smart, who starred on the CBS sitcom as Charlene Frazier Stillfield, told Variety last night. “As a matter of fact, I was talking to (creator) Linda Bloodworth Thomason just today. It’ll be interesting to see. She hasn’t sent me the script yet.” ALSO: Smart recalls telling 24 producers to take her first lady character off her meds.
