Jed Allan, soap opera star who played Ian Ziering's Beverly Hills, 90210 dad, dies at 84

Allan had roles on Days of Our Lives and Santa Barbara. But he is perhaps best known for playing the father of Steve Sanders on Beverly Hills, 90210. “So sad to hear we’ve lost another 90210 classmate,” wrote Ziering on Instagram, days after paying tribute to fellow 90210 alum Luke Perry. “I had the pleasure of working with Jed Allan from 94 to 99. He played Rush Sanders, Steve’s father. Such a great guy to work with, he will be missed.”
