In an interview with NBC Sports' MMQB NFL column, executive producer Mike Richards looked back at working with Rodgers for three days (Feb. 14-16) for the NFL star's two-week stint on Jeopardy! The first day was devoted to orientation and practice, while 10 episodes taped over the next two days. “At the end of the three days,” says Richards, “Aaron was exhausted. But he was so complimentary to everyone in the studio and on the team. We were his offensive linemen for those three days. He treated us all so well. He hated to go, and we hated to see him go.” As for Rodgers' comments that he could host Jeopardy! and still play in the NFL, Richards says: “It’s the ultimate compliment to Alex and to the franchise that Aaron is that forward with his thoughts, and so complimentary of the show," adding: “What I find fascinating about Aaron is his second career could be better than his first.”
