He also points out that Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has too generic a premise to claim ownership, pointing to similar shows like Carpool Karaoke and Jay Leno's Garage. Finally, Seinfeld notes that he filed the copyright for his pilot episode 10 days before Charles filed his own copyright for Comedians in Cars Going for Coffee.
