Szohr's XOXO with Jessica Szohr promises the "ultimate deep dive into the cultural phenomenon known as Gossip Girl," featuring cast and crew interviews. But having looked back at Gossip Girl, Szohr tells E! News she wouldn't let her young kids watch. "Being a mom, when I watch it back I'm like, 'Well, we're never ever going to watch the show," she says. In a separate interview with Teen Vogue, Szohr recalled the backlash to her Vanessa Abrams character. "If I annoyed you and you cringed at Vanessa then I was doing my job, because some of the stuff was that way," she said. "On the other end, Vanessa was also a relatable character in the sense of there's a very small percentage of people that live on the Upper East Side and have these thousand dollar bags and drive limos to school. Most of the world can't relate to that." ALSO: Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage recall on Szohr's podcast nearly cutting Kristen Bell's voiceover.
