Jimmy Kimmel is hosting a special 20th-anniversary celebrity-driven Who Wants to Be a Millionaire revival

The hit game show will return to ABC primetime for the first time in 11 years on April 8 for a special run of episodes celebrating its 20th anniversary. Kimmel will host as celebrities compete for charity. Millionaire last aired on ABC in primetime for a 10th-anniversary run in 2009. This will be the first time Millionaire will be in production since the syndicated version ended last May. “Regis came to me in a dream, asked me to do this and promised my own line of neckties if I did. I had little choice but to say yes,” Kimmel said in a statement, referring to ABC's first Millionaire host Regis Philbin.
