Joe Lara, star of Tarzan: The Epic Adventures dies in a plane crash at age 58

Lara and his wife, author and faith-based diet program founder Gwen Lara, were among seven people who died when their small plane crashed into a Tennessee lake on Saturday. Lara is best known for starring in Tarzan: The Epic Adventures, which aired in syndication during the 1996-1997 season.
