Joel McHale returning to E! with Celebrity Beef cooking competition

McHale, who hosted E!'s The Soup from 2004 to 2015, is returning to the cable network to helm and executive produce Celebrity Beef, a cooking competition premiering this summer that pits two celebrities against each other in what is being described as a "good old-fashioned beef-squashing cook-off." According to the show's description, "each week two celebrities will go head-to-head in a light-hearted face-off, knives in hand and spices on the rack, ready to cook the best dish this side of the Hollywood Hills." McHale will act as "prosecutor, judge and jury," and crown the winner.
