The View co-host's manager, Bill Stankey, confirmed what Disney CEO Bob Iger said today at a shareholder meeting -- that Behar apologized personally to the vice president. “Yes, she did speak to Vice President Pence, they had a great, very nice conversation,” Stankey said. “The vice president was very gracious and very understanding. He understood that Joy wasn’t attacking anybody and that there was some miscommunication.” Behar's comments sparked an outcry, resulting in 30,000 calls insisting Behar apologize and 6,000 calls to The View's sponsors.
