Julia Roberts won't return for Homecoming Season 2

Roberts will continue to serve as executive producer but she won't be in front of the camera for the second season of the Amazon podcast-based series, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which adds that Roberts only committed to starring on Homecoming for one season. Roberts had been coy about returning for Season 2 in interviews last fall, opting not to confirm or deny her return. It's not clear if any other of Homecoming's Season 1 stars will also exit for Season 2, but there is still a possibility that Roberts could drop in for a cameo in Season 2.
