Jussie Smollett's attorney: City of Chicago is trying to “harass and irreparably injure" the Empire star

“Your letter is both factually and legally flawed, and Mr. Smollett will not be intimidated into paying the demanded sum,” attorney Mark Geragos wrote in a letter to Chicago in response to the city saying it would sue to recoup the cost of the Smollett police investigation.
