Jennings was responding to an Adam McKay tweet praising the Green Bay Packers QB's two-week stint as guest-host. "I know we’re in the midst of a murderous pandemic, the collapse of the livable atmosphere & an extreme white nationalist party dismantling US democracy but... Aaron Rogers is freakishly good at hosting Jeopardy," McKay tweeted. After Jennings tweeted that "It doesn't seem fair!" in response, McKay tweeted to Jennings: "Wife and I think you’re the best guest host so far but you haven’t been body slammed by 280 lb man missiles for 2 decades. So it’s all relative."

LeVar Burton Change.org petition creator is shocked that nearly 250,000 have signed for Burton to host Jeopardy!: “Oh my god, I never dreamed it would get this kind of response,” says Joshua Sanders, who first shared the petition in the Facebook group "Star Trek Sh*tposting." “But of course he’s the best option. I literally can’t think of anybody who would do a better job than him. For kids who grew up in the 80s and 90s, LeVar Burton probably did more to encourage them to learn how to read than their own parents did. I was about 13 when Star Trek: The Next Generation came on, and he was the smart guy character. He was my hero, and the one I wanted to be like, you know?”
