"I think the feeling amongst us all was: We’ve had two life-and-death cliffhanger moments in the previous two seasons, and it was really important to do something different this time," says showrunner Suzanne Heathcote, who was Killing Eve's third lead writer in three seasons, per the show's tradition. Heathcote will be replaced in Season 4 by Laura Neal, who was part of the writing staff for Season 3.
