Lena Waithe expects her Boomerang reboot to change the face of BET

“I literally want this show to change the face of BET,” she says. “I’m not even saying that out of shade." Waithe, who got Halle Berry on board for the reboot of the 1992 Eddie Murphy comedy, adds: “It’s just going to be a phenomenal experience and I’m going to be in Atlanta making sh*t happen."
