The acclaimed writer's 1962 novel Island was written as a utopian counterpoint to his most famous work, the 1932 dystopian novel Brave New World, which was recently turned into a Peacock series. Island "follows a cynical journalist shipwrecked on the fictional utopian island of Pala in the Indian Ocean," per Variety.
