A&E has opted not to air new episodes of Live PD tonight and Saturday amid the ongoing protests over police brutality in response to Floyd's killing. Meanwhile, Paramount Network has delayed Monday's Season 33 premiere of Cops. “Out of respect for the families of George Floyd and others who have lost their lives, in consultation with the departments we follow, and in consideration for the safety of all involved, we have made the decision not to broadcast Live PD this weekend,” A&E said in a statement. Paramount Network has yet to comment on its decision. Cops and Live PD have been criticized as being pro-cop propaganda that has helped perpetuate systematic racism.
