Liza Koshy apologizes for imitating Asian accents in a resurfaced 2016 YouTube video

The Liza on Demand star and her now ex-boyfriend David Dobrik imitated stereotypical Asian accents while tasting candy from Japan and Hawaii in the since-deleted video. In a second video, Koshy and Dobrik pretended to speak Japanese after eating the snacks from Hawaii. Koshy has since apologized in a lenghty Instagram statement, saying she "unknowingly perpetuated racist ideas."
