Lord of the Rings to leave New Zealand for Britain for Season 2

The Amazon series is leaving the franchise's longtime home in New Zealand for the UK, with filming on Season 2 scheduled to begin in early 2022. The elaborate sets for the show will be shipped to Britain. It's unclear where Lord of the Rings will shoot in Britain, but post-production will continue in New Zealand through June 2022.
