CBS is betting big on the summer dating reality show, with plans to air it six nights a week, original episodes Monday through Friday and a recap on Saturdays. Season 2 will kick off Thursday, May 21 with a two-hour premiere. The British version of Love Island also aired six nights a week. Last year, Love Island premiered in July and aired five nights a week for 22 total episodes in less than a month. Casting on Season 2 is underway with open casting calls scheduled Saturday in Minneapolis and March 4 in Orlando. Host Arielle Vandenberg and narrator Matthew Hoffman are set to return.
