MSNBC is standing by Joy Reid despite uproar over the discovery of her alleged anti-gay blog posts

The popular weekend host saw her an award from an LGBT advocacy group rescinded on Tuesday over the controversy. Reid has said some of the old blog posts were the work of hackers, which has been disputed by the Internet Archive. Reid's alleged anti-gay posts include one taking a shot at MSNBC colleague Rachel Maddow.
