MSNBC is unlikely to replace Chris Matthews with Brian Williams

The former NBC Nightly News anchor is a hit with his nightly show The 11th Hour with Brian Williams airing at 11 p.m. ET. But Page Six reports the Williams would be judged differently in leading off MSNBC's primetime lineup at 7 p.m. in Matthews' former Hardball slot. "The audience wants red meat at 7, not a news recap," a source tells Page Six.
