Matt Lauer and Charlie Rose resurface as puppet hosts of a small Florida talk show on Fox's Let's Be Real

Robert Smigel's Fox puppet show skewered everybody from President Trump to Joe Biden to Kanye West and Tucker Carlson. Let's Be Real also featured puppet versions of disgraced former network morning show hosts Lauer and Rose hosting AM Sarasota, a small-market Florida show, where they made guests feel uncomfortable. Smigel said the show's debate sketches were shot last weekend, in anticipation of what might happen. “Obviously we threw in a few dubs at the end referencing very specific things that were said at the debate but I was surprised how well the Trump one played, having been written before the debate,” he said.
