William “Bill” Norcross was 44 in 2015 when he left his  family’s printing business in Doylestown, Pennsylvania to move to L.A. to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a cop. His college friend Jon Steinberg helped adapt Norcross' story with The Rookie creator Alexi Hawley and star Nathan Fillion.
