David Rapaport, 40, has been responsible for casting Blake Lively on Gossip Girl, Stephen Amell on Arrow, Grant Gustin on The Flash, Melissa Benoist on Supergirl, and K.J. Apa, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart on Riverdale. He also cast Penn Badgely for Gossip Girl and You. "Before Penn was involved, I desperately wanted Alden Ehrenreich to play Dan,” Rapaport said of casting Gossip Girl, but the future Solo star was too short for Blake Lively.
