Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams are poised to exit Suits if it returns for a likely Season 8

The contracts of all original cast members of the USA series will be up after Season 7, and according to Deadline both Markle and Adams are expected to move on. Deadline reports that an eighth season is still likely, though it hasn’t been ordered. The USA series gave Adams his big break and, of course, Markle is more famous these days dating Prince Harry. As Deadline notes, “like with Adams, Suits also helped establish Markle as a TV star. Her Rachel Zane character on Suits had been closely linked with Adams’ Mike Ross since Day 1, so an exit of Markle alongside Adams would make sense.”
