When Tina Fey pulled four blackface episodes of 30 Rock on Tuesday, Kelly tweeted sarcastically: "Wait - what network aired those episodes again?" This morning, when it was pointed out that Scrubs became the third NBC show to become embroiled in a blackface controversy (after Jimmy Fallon and SNL), Kelly tweeted out a reference to her own 2018 blackface controversy that led to her ouster from NBC. “So it turns out that when (former NBC News chairman) Andy Lack said ‘there is no place on our air’ for my discussion of blackface, it was b/c NBC was already chalk-full of shows and major stars actually wearing blackface ... on the air ... at NBC,” Kelly tweeted, later correcting that tweet by adding, “Chock-full!”
