Kelly's announcement comes after CNN's Don Lemon said Monday that Reade bailed on a planned interview with him. The interview, which will be released on Kelly's Instagram and YouTube accounts, was produced by Rich McHugh, the former NBC News producer who collaborated with Ronan Farrow in his Harvey Weinstein investigation. "She will describe to the American public what happened to her," Reade's attorney, Douglas Wigdor, said in an email previewing the interview. "Her harrowing account is credible and supported by numerous 'outcry' witnesses from decades ago." Since Kelly was forced out of NBC News, she has launched her own "MK" media brand. In November, Kelly interviewed a former ABC News associate producer who had been blamed for leaking an embarrassing video of network personality Amy Robach.
