Watters decided to ask the controversial Oscar winner about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock toward the end of his Jesse Watters Primetime interview. Specifically, Watters wanted to know “if you would’ve been treated the same way, Mel" had he slapped Chris Rock. Rather get an answer, a handler for Gibson chimed in. “Hello, Jessie?” she said. “Thank you. That’s our time.”
