Miss America pageant is leaving Atlantic City for Connecticut

NBC announced today that this year's Miss America pageant will air Thursday, Dec. 19 from the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. The pageant previously left Atlantic City in 2006, airing from Las Vegas for seven years before it was lured back with subsidies from then-New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
