NFL Draft ratings get a boost from the addition of Fox while wreaking havoc on network schedule

Last year, ESPN and NFL Network combined for a 6.7 rating. This year's draft, the first to be shown on a broadcast network, had an 8.3 rating combined with Fox, ESPN and NFL Network. The NFL Draft also hurt network ratings, with The Big Bang Theory's ratings tumbling 21% and Quantico's Season 3 premiere matching a series low. ALSO: Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is expected to succeed Jon Gruden on Monday Night Football.
