Netflix orders Arabic horror series Paranormal, its first Egyptian drama

Author Ahmed Khaled Tawfik, who died last year, has sold more than 15 million copies of his 81 Paranormal Arabic pocket novels. The 1960-set series follows the adventures of Dr. Refaat Ismail as he comes up against various supernatural events.
